My name is Meredith Smith and I am a licensed professional counselor associate, LPC-A, for the state of South Carolina and nationally certified by the NBCC. I work with a diverse population of individuals doing school-based counseling and in-office counseling. I work with individuals of all ages, but I specialize in children, adolescents, and adults. I believe some of my greatest strengths as a provider are that I’m compassionate, empathetic, and have the ability to create a warm, trustworthy environment. I believe I go the extra mile to ensure clients don’t feel like they’re alone in their struggles. I believe empathy and compassion are the foundation of any successful therapeutic alliance. The first session with me is about giving you the opportunity and space to share your experiences without judgement or bias.
