Jody is a LPCA in South Carolina with a deep passion for supporting children and adolescents in their emotional and developmental growth. She is dedicated to helping young people understand, express, and manage their emotions in healthy, age-appropriate ways.
Jody holds a Master of Science from the University of North Dakota and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rivier University. She brings a diverse background of experience to her clinical work, having provided intensive services to high-risk youth at the ISO level, as well as supporting clients of all ages in private practice settings.
Her approach to therapy is integrated and personalized. She draws from a variety of evidence-based methods to meet the unique needs of each client. Jody incorporates
play therapy, art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), client-centered therapy, positive psychology, and strengths-based approaches.
At the heart of Jody’s work is a commitment to providing compassionate, supportive and developmentally appropriate care. She believes in empowering her clients to grow into emotionally capable, self-aware individuals who are equipped with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges.
